  1. Larry: It is hard to tell how good these choices are without knowing how they are cooking these ingredients. Beans, for example, can be cooked in animal fat. Oil can be added to anything. Were the vegan pancakes whole grain? The Italian bread? Overall, this looks very good. If you want to fine tune it, pay attention (as you have been) to the amount of oil and what else they are cooking the foods in and also try for whole grains.

I hope you are eating enough. It is not clear from your descriptions. I'd probably eat 4-5 pancakes in the morning! ;)

    1. I have checked on the internet everything I am eating. I do a search for the restaurant and nutrition. ie "subway nutrition". The 6" Italian bun has 200 calories and 20 calories of fat. This is 10%. I check everything I eat very carefully (or at least pretty good) and feel I am in compliance with the WFPB guidelines. I guess we will see by the results.

I eat each meal until I am full and then I quit. I had stomach staple surgery in 1981. Then my stomach expanded, but not all the way back. It isn't to hard to fill up and I AM NOT HUNGRY BETWEEN MEALS.
      Really.

      Thanks for your concern.
